Whistler Blackcomb
Let us find you the right Whistler ski chalet, in the right place, at the right price!
Here, amidst the towering coastal mountains of British Columbia, is a ski village unique in North America. The style is distinctively West Coast, the mood relaxed, and the skiing spectacular! In the attractive pedestrianised village centre, winner of several design awards, you will be charmed by the pleasant walkways and plazas with stylish shops and a huge choice of great bars, clubs and wide variety of restaurants. Designed by skiers, for skiers, everything you could possibly want from a ski holiday is here and it's right on your doorstep.
The resort of Whistler-Blackcomb has over 8000 acres of terrain, 5280 vertical feet and over 180 miles of pisted runs to explore. The resort has recently invested millions of dollars on mountain improvements and introduced 1100 acres of new terrain on Whistler Mountain. The Nintendo Superpipe means that Whistler-Blackcomb is also a favourite for boarders. The new Peak 2 Peak Gondola is opening in December 2008; this 3km (almost 1.9 miles!), 11-minute journey from the top of Whistler to the top of Blackcomb will open up infinite possibilities for exploring the mountains!
The average snowfall in Whistler is 360 inches - that's over 9 metres (30 feet) per year!!
