Beginner or competitor, skier or snowboarder, the ski schools at Whistler offer you a great diversity of services for your ski vacations. A wide range of programmes are available: carving, free-ride, safari skiing, heliskiing, cross country or even snowshoe trekking.
We have selected our favourite ski schools below which offer a wide variety of services from beginner group lessons to private ski clinics. Most ski schools will be happy to access you and decide what level of skiier or rider you are.
Group lessons are more sociable and normally work out cheaper, however not as intense as a one-to-one tuition - it may be better investing in a few private lessons early on. The instructors will ensure that your learning experience is an enjoyable one, whether you are in a group or on your own.
It's a good idea to pre-book your ski school lessons prior to arriving in resort so you don' miss out - peak season can be manic.

Ski Esprit is a perfect package for adult skiers/boarders of any level. Let local experts assist you to explore the mountain in a relaxed and fun group atmosphere. The programme includes: Guided ski instruction (4 hrs per day); Lift line priority; Après ski; Video analysis; Timed slalom run. 3 Days start Friday and Monday. 4 Days start Monday.
The Whistler Kids Ski & Snowboard School offers daily group lessons for all ages and abilities. Ski programmes start from 3-17 years with 5 day courses from Monday to Friday and two day courses over the weekend. Snowboard programmes start from 6 years - teens. All day programmes include lunch. Infant and toddler care is available for ages 3 months - 36 months from C$95 (£38 ).
